Nita Whaley
Nita Whaley moved to SWFL from Columbus, Indiana in 2017. She holds an MBA and a B.S. in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and an A.S. in Finance from Ball State University. She’s held a Certified Treasury Professional certification (CTP) from the Association of Financial Professionals from 2004-2017.
Nita has over 25 years of experience in banking/finance, where she specialized in medical, hotel, manufacturing, and real estate lending for both small and large businesses. Nita has won numerous awards for her business development and sales efforts in banking, including Commercial Lender of the Year in 2008. She also specialized in Treasury Management to assist her clients with managing their cash and payments systems.
Nita spent nearly 6 years with the Economic Development Office of City of Cape Coral as the Business Recruitment and Retention Specialist. She also served as a liaison for the local businesses to help them through the processes in the City from “cradle to grave”! Nita’s efforts brought in nearly $2 billion dollars in new projects to the City of Cape Coral.
Paulette duCharme Hansen
Paulette has over 25 years of multi-family development, management and real estate sales experience. She has a Real Estate Degree from Cisco College, Cisco Texas. She spent her career in Fargo, ND helping to create over 4000 units of successful multi-family housing throughout ND and Minnesota. She owned and operated Prairie Property Management, Inc. from 1996 to 2016 and managed approximately 4000 units and 23 employees.
Paulette has been working in Cape Coral and the SW Florida Real Estate market for the past 7 years and has assisted with numerous multi-family sites including, Bimini West, The Cove on 47th, Coral Shores, the Four Corners, Cape West 91 Villas and The Cape at Savona. She assembled 33 acres on Pine Island Road in SW Cape Coral for a large mixed use development and worked with the developer to secure the site for the first new hotel in Cape Coral in over 10 years, The Fairfield Inn. She has also secured several restaurants to include leases and sales.
Because of her experience and relationship with local vendors and municipalities she has been able to assist her clients through the development, permit, annexation and rezoning processes. Her knowledge of the market has helped her clients overcome potential obstacles.
